  Social System use a space metaphor to represent the FOAF network of the school. Universe is the school, planets are the proms. The system is dynamic and reorganize itself regarding the prom chose by the user that becomes the center of the universe.

  Stellar Interconnections

  We propose a stellar metaphor to represent the school’s social network.
  Students are represented by dynamic stars drawned as a function of hub (number of branches) and authorities scores (diameter of the root circle), time drive the opacity of the stars.

  Cartus’ aim is to enlarge the FOAF students network vision to represent the whole “ecosystem” of the school and for instance: its relationships with industrial companies, links between the projects and the people involved in them.

  Our concept is an interface which simplifies the display(visualization) of the school’s social links. We tried to keep an analogy with the organic system.
